Candlelight vigil outside the Rudin Sales Office at what used to be St. Vincent’s Hospital on the evening when we remember the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Just moments after this photograph was taken, a stranger was found passed out about 25 feet from the vigil. A passer-by called 911, and vigil participants waited with the stranger, until FDNY EMS rescue crew could arrive.
